James Bliss was elected to the Board of Trustees to the John Paul Jones Cottage and Museum this week. He is only the second American to ever serve on that Board. He looks forward to promoting the Museum all over the world.
Dr. Bliss will be visiting Fredericksburg, Virginia the week of July 20th conducting research on both John Paul and his time in that village and information regarding his brother, William Paul who immigrated to Virginia and worked as a Gentleman’s Tailor. William died in 1774 and is buried in the church yard.
